Five categories of electrical ceramics
Electrical ceramics is a series of electrical components for electrical processing and production process.
Electrical ceramics are insulators used for high and low voltage transmission lines in the power industry.
Such as motor bushings, pillar insulation insulators, low-voltage appliances and lighting insulators, communication insulators, radio insulators, etc.
Electrical ceramics, also known as electronic ceramics, can be used in the electronic industry with electromagnetic properties of ceramics.
Widely used in energy, home appliances, automobiles and other fields.
Electrical ceramics can be divided into five categories according to its function and application: insulator ceramics, capacitor ceramics, iron ceramics, semiconductor ceramics and ionic ceramics.
1. Insulation device porcelain
It is called device ceramics for short. It has excellent electrical insulation properties and is used in electronic equipment and devices as structural parts, substrates and shells of electronic ceramics.
Porcelain insulator includes insulator, coil holder, tube holder, belt switch, capacitor support, integrated electric subgrade board and encapsulation shell.
2. Capacitor porcelain
Ceramic capacitors for bypass, DC isolation and filtering in low frequency circuits.
3. Ferroelectric ceramics
It can be made into piezoelectric device, laser modulator, photoelectric display, optical information memory, optical switch, photoelectric sensor, image storage and display as well as laser or nuclear radiation protection glasses and other new devices.
4. Semiconductor ceramics
The semiconductor properties of electrical ceramics, such as strong interfacial potential barrier, are presented by using semiconductor measures to make the ceramics have semi-conductive grains and insulating (or semi-conductive) grain boundaries.
5. Ionic ceramics
Fast ion conducting electronic ceramics.
It has the characteristics of rapid transfer of positive ions.
It can be used to manufacture solid state batteries with high energy ratio and capacitors with high energy storage density with low discharge.
Electrical ceramics have good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, and have a wide application prospect and play an important role in practical application.
